Auditions for Baraboo the Last Show on Earth coming up

To the Editor: I attended the community meeting on housing at Wapanohk School this past Wednesday, as did a surprising number of individuals.

A year and half ago, the local cultural scene was dealt a significant setback when the Thompson Arts Council folded its tent for a second time.

To the Editor: I would like to thank Donna Wilson, the Thompson Citizen, and the people of Thompson for generously supporting CancerCare Manitoba Foundation during Breast Cancer awareness month.

To the Editor: I read with admiration Donna Wilson's Out & About column regarding the ongoing fight against breast cancer. She has always been such a champion for the fight and should be commended.

Now that the winter weather is settling in for Northern Manitoba, I think it's a time to remind people looking for a pet that the best cats and dogs can be found at the Thompson Humane Society.

To the Editor: I just had to take moment to share with you a tremendous experience I just had recently. A friend and I, on a 25-day road trip, stopped in Thompson for a very brief visit.
