Thompson’s cold and rainy weather finally broke Aug. 21 just in time for the final Concert in the Park show of the year. This musical event featured a trio of acts who kept the crowd at MacLean Park entertained for three hours in the evening.

The Hazel Hopkins Gallery was standing room only Aug. 17 for the Heritage North Museum’s first ever music matinee. This show, dubbed “Music at the Museum,” featured a trio of acts that all brought something unique to the table.

The Heritage North Museum is hosting an hour-long musical showcase Aug. 17 at the Hazel Hopkins Gallery . This inaugural event, titled “Music at the Museum,” will feature Art and Al Starling, Isabel Carter and Amy Caldwell performing acoustic sets.

Despite the relentless heat, a collection of Thompson musicians belted out some classic rock and country tunes for the first Concert in the Park show of 2019, which took place at MacLean Park July 24.
