Barbara Ann McIntyre
January 21, 1949 - August 22, 2018
Barbara passed away suddenly on August 22, 2018. She was predeceased by her parents, Howard Larsen and Margaret Larsen Johnson, brother, Charles Larsen and sister, Nancy Hudoba.
Barbara is loved and will be remembered by daughter Kristin, siblings, Jill Larsen, Julie Larsen (Bill Stesin), John Larsen (Monica), Jodi Bonnette (Steve), Penny Munson (John), ten nieces and nephews and friend Jeff McIntyre.
Barbara believed in the dignity and worth of everyone. She had a passion for her work as an educator and worked in the School District of Mystery Lake for over 40 years. Barbara was a role model to her students and took great pride in mentoring and guiding her students to success.
Barbara’s Church and family were very important to her. She loved her dogs, growing her own vegetables and flowers and baking beautiful treats during the holidays.
Please join the family in honouring Barbara with a celebration of life on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Lutheran-United Church, 52 Caribou Road.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
