Two arrested in Thompson stabbing

A 25-year-old male was taken to hospital on Aug. 20 after RCMP were called to a residence on Wolf Street, to investigate an early morning stabbing. The male has been since treated for his injuries.

24-year-old Arland Francois, and 22-year-old Joshua McDonald have been arrested and charged with aggravated assault for suspected involvement in the incident. Francois is currently in custody, and McDonald has been released on a recognizance to appear in Thompson court on Sept. 15.
