Thompson RCMP fined the same woman twice in two days for hosting gatherings larger than allowed under provincial public health orders.
Police were called to an apartment building on Cree Road around 11:30 p.m. April 17 and saw numerous people inside the apartment while speaking with the renter. She was issued a $1,296 fine for failing to comply with a public health order and the guests, who were not ticketed, were asked to leave.
Around 8:15 p.m Sunday, police received another report of a large gathering at the same address and returned to fine the woman the same amount as the previous day after observing a large number of guests in her apartment.
