A video by Thompson dietitians finished second in the Manitoba Association of Health Care Professionals (MAHCP) 2019 Video Contest when voting wrapped up March 1.
Their entry – “We are the Dietitians of Thompson” – received the second-most Facebook likes behind the first prize winning Lab Life submission.
First prize was worth $1,500, second place was worth $1,000 and third place was worth $500.
“As part of the video submission review committee, I have been so impressed with both the quality and the content of our members’ submissions,” said MAHCP labour relations officer Cheryl Beal in the March issue of the MAHCP newsletter. “I am so proud to be a representative of such an amazing and talented group of health care professionals.”
MAHCP s a union of approximately 3,900 members in 160 fields including pharmacists, dietitians, physiotherapists, radiology technologists, respiratory therapists and lab technologists.
