Report by witness leads to arrest of impaired driver at Trapper’s Tavern

A 42-year-old man from Thompson was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle June 22 after someone flagged down Thompson RCMP on patrol to report a possible drunk driver at Trapper's Tavern.

The driver later provided breath samples with more than 2.5 times the legal limit of blood alcohol content while driving and was released to appear in court at a later date.
