Impaired driver’s breath samples showed blood-alcohol content more than twice the legal limit

A 33-year-old Oxford House woman arrested after an Oct. 5 traffic stop provided breath samples that showed a blood-alcohol content nearly two-and-a-half times the legal limit, RCMP say.

A 33-year-old Oxford House woman arrested after an Oct. 5 traffic stop provided breath samples that showed a blood-alcohol content nearly two-and-a-half times the legal limit, RCMP say.

Police received a report of a possible impaired driver headed towards Goldeye Crescent and Grey Wolf Bay at about 5:20 p.m. Saturday and located the suspect at the intersection of Thompson Drive South and Cree Road.

The woman was released and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
