A car with no licence plates stopped on Highway 6 south of Thompson June 25 was being driven by a man impaired by alcohol, police say.
Thompson RCMP on patrol stopped the vehicle around 10:20 p.m. Thursday. The 33-year-old driver from Thompson failed a roadside screening test and later provided breath samples with more than twice the legal limit of blood alcohol content while driving. He was later released to appear in court at a future date.
