A 30-year-old man was arrested for cocaine trafficking at Striker’s Lounge around 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19, Thompson RCMP say.
Multiple baggies of cocaine and approximately $900 were seized from the man. A search warrant executed at his residence afterwards turned up about $3,000 as well as weapons including machetes and brass knuckles.
The man was remanded into custody and faces charges of possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, breaching a court order and multiple weapons offences.
