R.D. Parker Collegiate's athletes of the month for June are at opposite ends of their high school sports careers but both are being recognized for ending the school year with top-10 finishes at the high school track provincials in Selkirk June 7-9.

Summer basketball returns to Thompson June 5 as R.D. Parker Collegiate's Trojans basketball brings back Hoop-It-Up and then puts on the second-annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament the following day, both in the parking lot of City Centre Mall.

The R.D. Parker Collegiate track team placed second in the team competition at the Zone 11 high school track and field championships May 22-23 in The Pas, finishing behind Hapnot Collegiate Institute of Flin Flon.
