A washed-out section of Provincial Road 391 was once agan ready for traffic after the highways department installed a temporary one-lane Bailey Bridge across a 10-metre long, two-metre deep hole created by floodwaters 45 kilometres south of Leaf Rapids.

The Ruttan Mine in Leaf Rapids was evacuated when heavy rains, combined with a power outage, flooded parts of the mine.
