Thompson RCMP say they have seized approximately $20,000 worth of marijuana and $6,000 in cash after executing a search warrant March 18.
The seizure occurred at a residence in the Westwood neighbourhood. RCMP say they found approximately 2.5 kilograms of marijuana in the residence.
David Smith, a 46-year-old Thompson resident, was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking as well as possession of proceeds of crime.
He was remanded into custody and was scheduled for a March 21 court appearance.
