Princeton Drive stabbing results in trip to hospital for one man and criminal charges for two

One man was arrested and another taken to hospital and then arrested after Thompson RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing at Forest View Suites on Princeton Drive Jan. 15.

Police were dispatched around 8:50 p.m. and arrested a 23-year-old Oxford House man for assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The victim, a 20-year-old man from Gods Lake Narrows, was taken to hospital for treatment and then released, at which point he was arrested for two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking and one count of failing to comply with a probation order.

Both men were due to appear in court in Thomson Jan. 16.
