Report of a female who was threatening suicide. Police located the female and she was taken to the hospital for treatment.

2009-08-02:

Report of a male trying to get into vehicles. The male was located and arrested for public intoxication.

2009-08-01:

Police located a vehicle in the Juniper area driving erratically and conducted a routine traffic stop. Police determined that the driver of the vehicle was a youth not yet old enough to hold a driver's licence. The youth received two charges under the Highway Traffic Act and the vehicle was towed.

2009-07-31:

Received report of two young males attempting to go through vehicles in the Deerwood area. Extensive patrols were made but police were unable to locate the suspects.

Police received report of a male driving a red truck in the Westwood area that had run over flowerbeds. Suspect vehicle was located and male driver was arrested and charged with impaired operation of motor vehicle. The male will appear in Thompson provincial court at a later date.

Report of a domestic assault in the Burntwood area. Charges have been laid against an adult male for assault.

Report of an intoxicated male in the downtown area. He was arrested and charged for failing to comply with his conditions.

Report of an intoxicated male sleeping in the downtown area. He was arrested and found to be breaching his conditions. He was charged accordingly.

2009-07-30:

A female entered a local business and took items off of the shelves and then proceeded to attempt to take the items to the customer service counter to return them for money. This incident was caught on the security camera inside the business. The female was barred from the premises for one

year.

Report of a suspicious odour inside an apartment building in the Eastwood area. Police attended and could not determine the source of the noxious odor but believe it to have been pepper spray. No persons were injured and the occupants of the apartment building were evacuated

until the odour dissipated.

2009-07-29:

Report of a vehicle damaged outside of a car rental center in Thompson. Vehicle is property of rental company and had been left unlocked. Vehicle received fire damage on the interior of the vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time. This incident is still under investigation.

2009-07-28:

It was discovered in the early morning that vehicles had been gone through sometime throughout the night in the Burntwood area. Owners of the vehicles were unsure if the vehicles had been locked. Thompson RCMP cautions vehicle owners not to leave any valuables in their vehicles and to lock their doors.

The Thompson Boys and Girls Club reported a break and enter to their new address at the old Mennonite Church on Thompson Drive. Missing were two gaming systems and the controllers. There was no sign of forced entry into the building. Unknown suspects at this time. This incident is still under investigation.

2009-07-26:

RCMP received a report of males fighting at a location. Members attended and observed five males in a vehicle that appeared to have been in an altercation. All males were intoxicated, including the driver, who was arrested for impaired care and control. Another male was observed to be breaching his probation and recognizance conditions and was remanded in custody. A third male was also breaching his bail conditions and was charged.

Report of a domestic assault in the Eastwood area. Police located a male who was arrested and remanded into custody.

Report that a male assaulted his daughter. The male was located and charged. He was released for court in Thompson.

2009-07-25:

Report of a disturbance in the downtown area. Police located three intoxicated persons who were all arrested to prevent the continuation of offence.

Report of a large fight outside of a social. Police attended, several persons were taken into custody to prevent continuation.

RCMP received a report of a traffic collision at an intersection. Members attended and observed a single female driver who had jumped the curb and struck a light standard. EMS attended to the female and grounds were formulated that the female was impaired by alcohol. A blood demand was made to the female as she was too injured to provide samples of her breath.

RCMP received a report of males going through vehicles at a location. Members attended and the suspects fled into the bush. On patrol, members located one male on the road matching the description of one of the males. The male was intoxicated and was arrested and lodged.

RCMP received a report that a male broke into a residence at a location and fled. A description of the male was provided to police who observed a male matching the description in the vicinity of the crime. The male fled from police and a foot chase ensued with the male being apprehended. The investigation revealed the male was responsible for two break and enters and several other offences. The male youth was breaching bail as well and was remanded in custody.

2009-07-24:

Report of a fight in the Riverside area. Police attended however, all parties had already fled the area.

Report of a fight in the downtown area. Police attended and located two persons who were arrested and lodged to prevent continuation.

2009-07-23:

At 1:30 a.m. report of youth drinking outside in the Riverside area and being loud.

At 2:30 a.m. report of a disturbance in the Westwood area.

Report of a fight outside a residence in the Southwood area at 3:15 a.m. Police are investigating.

At 3:35 a.m. report of an intoxicated female causing a disturbance outside a residence in the Eastwood area. The female was arrested and found to be breaching conditions of a court order and will be charged accordingly.

Report of a loud party at an apartment in the Westwood area at 4 a.m. Police attended and the tenants were given a warning.

Five reports of false alarms to local businesses.

Report of a theft from a local business. Police attended and one male was arrested.

2009-07-22:

Report of vandalism to a vehicle at 1 a.m. in the Eastwood area. Police are investigating.

Report of an intoxicated female causing a disturbance at an apartment in the Riverside area at 2:45 a.m. Police attended and removed the female.

At 4:10 a.m. report of an intoxicated adult female causing a disturbance at an apartment in the Cree Road area. Police attended and the female left voluntarily.

At 5 a.m. report of two intoxicated adult males being assaulted in the downtown area. Police are investigating.

Report of an assault in the Cree Road area at 7:30 p.m. Police are investigating.

Report of shoplifting at a local business at 8 p.m.

Police received a report that a young female had been assaulted by a group of young females in the downtown area. Police are investigating.

At 9 p.m. report of a male causing a disturbance at a downtown location. The male was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act.

False alarm at 9:30 p.m.

Report of a possible assault in the Riverside area at 10 p.m. Police are investigating.

Police assisted with a female who had mental health issues and wished to go to the hospital at 11 p.m.

At 11:20 p.m. report of an assault outside a downtown establishment. Police are investigating.

2009-07-21:

At 12:30 a.m. report of a break and enter in progress in the Riverside area. Police attended and the complaint was unfounded.

At 5 a.m. report of male and female fighting outside an apartment in the Riverside area. Police attended and investigation revealed no assault had occurred.

Report of a group of youth looking into vehicles in the Deerwood area at 5:15 a.m.

At 7 p.m. report of a break and enter at a downtown business. Police are investigating.

Report of an intoxicated adult female causing a disturbance at a downtown location at 8:30 p.m.

At 9: p.m. report of a shoplifter at a downtown business.

At 9 p.m. police responded to a complaint of assault in the Eastwood area. One male was arrested for assaulting his wife.

Report of a male breaching a protection order in the Cree Road area at 9:30 p.m. The male was located and arrested.

At 10 p.m. report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at a downtown establishment. The male was located and arrested.

False alarm at 6:25 p.m.

At 8:45 p.m. report of a male walking around with blood on him in the Cree Road area. Police are investigating.

AT 10:00 p.m. report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at a downtown establishment. The male was located, arrested and lodged.

Report of a theft from an apartment in the Cree Road area at 10 p.m.

At 10:20 p.m. report of a break and enter into a residence in the Old Burntwood Trailer Court. Police are investigating.

Report of a fight in the Burntwood area at 10:30 p.m. Patrols were made but the individuals involved were not located.

At 11:30 p.m. report of youth looking in vehicles in the Eastwood area.
