Thompson RCMP are still looking for this mystery woman in a green sweatshirt after an early October robbery of the Days Inn.

More than two months after an armed robbery at the Days Inn in Thompson, nobody has been arrested and no charges have been laid.

"We're still very much active on it," said RCMP Sgt. Rob Collen. The incident occurred on Oct. 4, and the RCMP sent out a series of four surveillance photos of the suspect the next day.

At around 11:30 on Oct. 4, a woman entered the Days Inn hotel on Thompson Drive North, approaching the lobby from inside the hotel. According to RCMP, the woman proceeded to demand "all the money." When the clerk refused, the woman claimed to have a weapon and again demanded all the money.

At this point, the hotel clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money, and the woman fled the property on foot.

RCMP immediately conducted a search using a police dog, but were unable to locate the woman.

The woman, described as a Caucasian in her early 20s wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, did not injure the hotel clerk during the incident.

"We're still looking into some leads," said Collen, noting that the investigation remains ongoing and that tips from the public are always appreciated.
