A 31-year-old Thompson woman and her 20-month-old son were found by RCMP earlier this week after having been reported missing Jan. 30.
Mary-Anne Dumas and her son Clayton had been last seen on Jan. 26, when they were dropped off at the Thompson bus station. They were expected to take a bus from Thompson to Grand Rapids, with further plans to travel to The Pas and Pukatawagan.
RCMP said Feb. 1 that no contact had been made with Dumas or her son since that time, and she was officially reported missing on Jan 30.
However, only a couple of hours after the RCMP appealed to the public for help in locating Dumas, she was found safe and sound.
Thompson RCMP say that, with the assistance of Grand Rapids RCMP, Dumas and her son were located in a residence in Grand Rapids.
