Dave Daley, 46, owner of Wapusk Adventures in Churchill, stopped by Thompson during his trek by dog sled from Churchill to Winnipeg on Jan. 11 and visited Wapanohk Community School. Daley left on Jan. 3, to take part in the journey to the ancestral home of his people, near the Red River area, as part of Manitoba's 2010 homecoming celebrations.
