During the week of Jan. 25 the halls and classrooms at RDPC and the school board offices were buzzing with a "Let's Help Haiti" campaign. The entire school united in an effort to make a difference for the children and people who were affected by the devastating earthquake. The donation cans clinked steadily as students and staff reached in to their pockets to give with big hearts to this cause. In this effort to help those much less fortunate than ourselves, a sense of a deeper appreciation for what we have permeated the school. We donated over $900 to the Canadian Red Cross.
