On Page 2 of the Dec. 22 Thompson Citizen, it was stated that Thompsonites would be paying 62 cents per litre for water and 47 cents per litre for wastewater starting Jan. 1, less than the rates the city had asked for of 97 and 77 cents per litre respectively. Those are, obviously, the rates per cubic metre, as otherwise bottled water would look like an absolute bargain.
