Community hall in Easterville burned down May 19

RCMP responded to the fire around 4: a.m and found the building completely engulfed in flames.

Chemawawin RCMP are investigating a fire that destroyed the community hall in Easterville.

Officers responded to the fire on Bourassa Street around 4 a.m. May 19 and found the building completely engulfed in flames. The fire department attended and worked to extinguish the fire. 

No one was in the building at the time of the fire and police say the cause is unknown. 

RCMP and the Office of the Fire Commissioner continue to investigate.
