Now that the snow has melted so early, are you worried we'll have a bad forest fire season this year?
Larry Caplette (streeters fire 001.jpg): We might have an earlier season but not necessarily a bad one. The runoff is probably similar to last year, but those in the know will have planned for this in advance.
Dave Moore (streeters fire 002.jpg): Traditionally, when we get a really dry winter that is always the possibility. The fact that there's not a lot of snow in the bush makes me concerned.
Volker Beckmann (streeters fire 003.jpg): I'm not worried about it but I think the risk will be greater unless it rains every second day this summer like it did last year.
Ron Trainor (streeters fire 004.jpg): Yes. I want to see another two months of winter! We've had a couple of dry years but have lucked out. If we don't get more snow it'll be potentially dangerous.
