A 20-year-old Thompson woman has been charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possessing the proceeds of crime after Mounties made a vehicle stop about 10 a.m. Sept. 30 at the intersection of Thompson and Westwood drives.
A search of the vehicle revealed three ounces of cocaine, half a pound of marihuana and a small quantity of ecstasy, Cpl. Steve Mancini said. The total estimated street value of the drugs is $20,000. A quantity of cash was also seized, police said.
Paige Krueger-Trottier has been charged. She has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in provincial court Nov. 12.
