Ava White, Kaitlyn Krentz and Sydney Power competed at Super Skate in Winnipeg at the Terry Sawchuk Arena, Nov. 23-25. Skaters picked up numerous top-seven placings in the FreeSkate, Elements and Team Events. Ava and Kaitlyn competed in the STAR 5 under-13 FreeSkate event. Ava placed second and Kaitlyn placed third. Ava placed fifth and Kaitlyn placed seventh in the STAR 5 elements. Ava, Kaitlyn and Sydney competed in Creative Improv 2. Ava and Sydney received a gold ribbon and Kaitlyn received a bronze ribbon. Sydney competed in the Pre–Juvenile FreeSkate event where she placed first. Sydney placed fourth in the STAR 6 elements. Awesome skating, girls!
Skate with Santa is Sunday, Dec. 16 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the C. A. Nesbitt Arena and is open to all Skate Thompson members and families.
