R.D. Parker Collegiate’s junior girls basketball team finished their season with a four-point loss to the Linden Christian Wings at the AAA junior varsity provincials in Brandon March 7-9.

The Trojans opened with a 52-44 loss to the St. James Jimmie’s in which Keashae Master was named RDPC’s game star, then defeated the Stonewall Rams 55-49 in their first B-side match, with Sophie Murdy taking game star honours.

That win advanced the Trojans to the consolidation final, where they lost a close contest 50-46 to the Linden Christian Wings. Emma Tomchuk was the Trojans’ game star in that matchup and also won the tournament’s HARV (hustle, attitude, respect and values) award.
