Brooke Lychuk was the top athlete for R.D. Parker Collegiate at the provincial high school track and field championship June 10-12 in Winnipeg, finishing third in the varsity girls' high jump with a leap of 1.45 metres.
Payton Chuckrey was just behind her, finishing fifth in the same event by clearing the bar at 1.40 metres.
Other top-10 finishers for the Trojans included the varsity boys' 4x100 metre relay team, which finished sixth with a time of 46.24 seconds, Avery Darechuk, who was seventh in the junior varsity boys' discus throw with a distance of 30.09 metres, and Jordan Todd, who finished eighth in the varsity boys' high jump.
Chuckery and Lychuk were also RDPC's top track performers last year, finishing sixth and ninth in varsity girls' high jump.
