UPDATE:
The intermittent issues impacting another carrier’s network have been resolved and Long Distance and Toll Free Calling in Saskatchewan has been restored, says SaskTel as of 1:20 today.
"SaskTel would like to apologize for any inconvenience this outage may have caused for customers and we would like to thank customers for their patience and understanding."
BACKGOUND: This morning -
SaskTel has tweeted they are aware of issues with not being able to call long distance and toll free numbers from landlines or cell phones.
“We are working to fix this issue as quickly as possible and will update this post when more info is available,” stated the tweet sent out at 9:26 a.m., which can also be seen on the SaskTel website.
An earlier tweet stated some customers reported they were unable to reach SaskTel via any toll free number, however they could still be reached by dialing 611.
