GODS LAKE NARROWS, Man. — The RCMP say a group of overdue hunters, including two children, have been found safe in northern Manitoba.
Mounties say the two adults and two youth, who are 12 and 16, were dropped off last Tuesday in the area of Mosquito Lake.
They were to be picked up Friday, but a chartered float plane could not land on the lake due to poor weather.
There were concerns because the group only have enough food for three days.
RCMP conducted an aerial search Wednesday and the group was found later in the day on the shore of the lake.
Mounties say they are healthy and have returned home to God's River.
