When it comes to gut feelings, most mine finders will tell you that they definitely play a part in the process. When all the air and ground surveys are done, a company has a choice to make; however, sometimes there is such a strong sense of a property's potential that they go to their investors and say, "Here, this is where we want to drill." Up to that point it's all approach, appearances, and outlook. But the truth it seems is all in the testing. And the 'Truth Machine' (diamond drill) is the only way to test it!

Rockcliff Resources Inc. announced in a Dec. 8 news release that the truth machine turning on their Rail Zone (part of their Snow Lake VMS Project) had intersected additional high-grade copper mineralization. The hole in question intersected 8.01m of stringer sulphides grading 3.11% copper, 0.30g/t gold and 5.1g/t silver including 2.75m grading 5.16% copper, 0.59g/t gold and 8.0g/t silver.

By additional high-grade copper mineralization, officials meant it complimented the 4.74m drill intersection grading 9.02 per cent copper, 3.46g/t gold, 1.62 per cent zinc, and 36.5g/t silver they announced back on Nov. 10.

The company stated that the new hole was drilled in an area south of the Rail Deposit where recent down hole geophysics on some previously drilled holes detected a large untested conductor south of and on strike to the Rail Zone.

Drilling has now increased the zone's mineralization (copper, gold, zinc and silver) to approximately 700m of strike length and close to 450 metres deep with the zone remaining open in all directions.

"Drilling on the Rail Zone has consistently returned excellent copper and copper-gold results," said Ken Lapierre, President and CEO of Rockcliff. "Our goal at Rail is to determine the zone's extent and then complete a NI 43-101 resource estimate. With an additional four VMS deposits, a former gold producer and numerous untested VTEM and ZTEM airborne targets as part of our Company's Snow Lake Project, we remain very optimistic of realizing our ultimate goal of becoming mine finders in this camp."

To date, a total of 4062.5 metres in 14 surface drill holes (RL09-33 to RL09-46) have been completed and reported in the current drill phase on the property. The mineralization intersected in holes 33, 34, 35, 44, 45 and 46 was copper rich and drilled south of the historic Rail Deposit. Whereas the mineralization intersected in drill holes 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, and 43 was copper-gold rich and drilled north of the historic Rail Deposit.

The company advises that drilling will continue on the Rail Zone early in the New Year. Additional drilling on the Snow Lake Project in 2010 will include areas with VMS and gold potential and will be reported once drill targets are finalized.

Rockcliff reports that they have the exclusive right to earn a 100 per cent interest in the Rail Property from Hudson Bay Exploration and Development Company Limited (HBED). If Rockcliff earns its interest in the Rail Property, HBED will receive a 2 per cent Net Smelter Return Royalty. If Rockcliff earns a 100 per cent interest in the Rail Property, HBED then has the right to acquire up to a 65 per cent interest in the Rail Property.
