What's up with gas prices in Thompson?

To the Editor: That's the problem - they are up! I just took a trip down south, and Wabowden was $1.226, and in Winnipeg it was between $1.149 and $1.169. The Co-op in Winnipeg was $1.149, and the Co-op in Thompson is $1.359.

Winnipeg's gas prices have been down for weeks. Why are our gas stations allowed to take advantage of us like this? It's fuel from the same refinery! And some independent stations buying from the same refinery sell it so much cheaper than the name stations? Oil prices have been down for months.

This is ridiculous. Do we need to boycott our gas stations?
