Hi Thompson Citizen/Nickel Belt Staff and Thompsonites!!?I would like to share a few words about receiving the Thompson Citizen in Prince Edward Island. It's really great!?I lived in Thompson for 28 years and I loved being a part of many activities in the Hub of The North. My sons were paper boys delivering the important news and community stories, the bits of news that makes Thompson so great.?

Today the paper gets mailed to me 3,000 miles away and the stories are heartwarming when I see the young people win various awards in sports and school accomplishments, the Spiritual Thoughts, the opening of the new Addictions Foundation of Manitoba building, Donna's Out and About, her mom moving back to Newfoundland. I saw the photo of Mayor Tim on his Harley. The nature photo contest is awesome, the pictures capture the true North. I must say The Thompson Citizen is outstanding at reporting the growth and development of a great city. I am looking forward to the article on the Terry Fox Run. I will be participating in my hometown of Souris, where my run will be in special honour of my brother Terry who was diagnosed with cancer over two years ago and is nearing the end of his journey here on earth.

I am very happy to be here at home, lots of family and my Mom is 88 years young. It's great to have tea with her. I do miss my family friends and all the folks I know in Thompson. I had friends visit from there and I got caught up. Thanks to the Thompson Citizen/Nickel Belt, I get all the news each week. Keep up the good work. Take and God bless.
