Sandra Lytle
Surrounded by love our Wife/Mother Sandra Elizabeth Lytle passed peacefully at Thompson General Hospital on November 10, 2018 after a long battle of dealing with the medical system in Northern Manitoba.
Sandra was born in Sioux Lookout on March 31, 1964. She will be missed by her mother Elizabeth Marcinyshyn.
At the age of 16 she would meet the love of her life Andrew Lytle. She married him at the age of 19 and then unintentionally starting her family in the next year with the birth of David, followed a year later with the birth of her first daughter Amanda, 6 years after that came the last of her children Katrina. Later years she would refer to us as all as happy surprises.
Sandra had a lot of love in her heart which lead her to being a 2nd mom to a lot of David, Amanda and Katie’s friends. She will be remembered and missed by all of them.
Sandra enjoyed many accomplishments in life including two degrees for teaching but nothing can compare to the joy and love she had for her family. Sandra’s children with their partners David Lytle (Gabrielle), Amanda Hart (Travis) and Katrina Lytle gifted her with 7 grandchildren, Alex Lytle, Isaiah Lytle, Keira Hart, Ethan Hart, Hayden Hart, Sadie Ray and Kaelynn Ray.
Her house was seldom quiet as we all enjoyed family BBQ’s, her kids randomly dropping by and grandkids coming for a visit. Sandra kept the people that she loved close and always had an open door for their laughter/happy moments but was always there for all of us in our time of need.
She also enjoyed the companionship of her dogs, Henry and Bartrina, which she had called her forever puppies and a large cat named Donuts.
Her husband and children would like to thank the staff at Clarke’s Pharmacy, and the doctor and nurses from Thompson General Hospital ER and ICU that cared for her in her final days. They all went above and beyond what was required.
She will be greatly missed by us all but remembered for all the good memories that we had. Please join us for a celebration of her life on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Burntwood Hotel - Miners Room from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
