Peter Allan Bennett
June 28, 1958 – January 16, 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Allan Bennett announces his sudden passing on Monday, January 16, 2017, at the age of 58.
An avid outdoorsman, Peter enjoyed hunting, fishing, and ATV’ing, but most especially time with family and friends.
Peter was born in Edmonton, Alberta, but as a young man found himself in Thompson, MB, where he started what would be a 34 year career with INCO/Vale, first as a miner and later as a heavy duty mechanic. In June of 1982 he met and later married the love of his life Daphne Heese.
Most recently Peter found himself captivated with the peacefulness that came with a property in Eriksdale, MB; where he and Daphne planned a long and restful retirement and was enjoying life to it’s fullest.
Peter is survived by his loving wife Daphne; his sons Zack and Lucas; his parents Peter and Sadie Bennett; and brothers Frank and Dan. Peter is predeceased by his brother Bill.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, yet to be determined, on the farm in Eriksdale, MB.
