The family of Margaret Bell (nee Robinson) announce, with great sorrow, her passing on March 17, 2018.
Margaret was born on April 23, 1928 in Blyth, Northumberland, England. Margaret is survived by her sons Ryan, Kevin (Belinda), Sean (Teresa); daughter Graeme (Murray) McDonald; grandchildren Megan, Mark, Devan, Kaelen and Cameron; and her niece Jennifer (Jim) Norton and family.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband Walter, her parents Johnson and Annie Robinson, her sister Barbara (Ian) Kerr, and her granddaughter Taylor.
Margaret, along with husband Walter, raised their family in Thompson, Manitoba. Margaret worked as a nurse at the Thompson General Hospital and then as an Office Manager and nurse for Dr. Alan Rich.
We will all miss her as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend. Her sense of humour and wit endeared her to all those around her.
We would like to thank all the wonderful staff at St. Joseph’s Residence, some of whom became Margaret’s dear friends.
In compliance with Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family gathering.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to The Firefighters Burn Fund.
