Betty Jean Henderson
Peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2017, Betty Henderson (Knutson) passed away at the Carman Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Bill in 2009, and left to cherish her memory are her children; Penny, Candy and Billy, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Sister Marlene, and large extended group of family and friends.
Born in Kelvington, Saskatchewan, she moved to Thompson in 1960 and after 38 wonderful years in the north, she and Bill retired to Carman. This spunky ‘29’ year old requested that there be no service. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Atchison and the nursing staff at the Carman Memorial Hospital for the care and compassion that they gave to Betty and the family. Donations in Betty’s memory may be made to Carman Palliative Care or Cancer Care Manitoba.
