Gail Laycock It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Gail on May 21, 2017 at the age of 75 years. Gail was born in Marwayne, Alberta, on September 7 1941. She married Raymond Laycock in Calgary in 1960.

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Gail on May 21, 2017 at the age of 75 years. Gail was born in Marwayne, Alberta, on September 7 1941. She married Raymond Laycock in Calgary in 1960. They then moved to Thompson in 1967. Gail is predeceased by her two brothers Doug and George, four sisters Isabel, Irene, Ivy, and Norma; parents George and Bertha, and great grandchild Bo Cepppettelli.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Raymond, her children Darren (Lisa), Diana, (Tim), Karen (Gary), and Glenn (Kim), grandchildren, Trevor, Lacey, Derek, Brett, Josh, Amy, Travis, Brady, Trent, and Lance, great grandchildren Brooke, Quinn, Nolan, and Connor.
Gail worked as a mail-carrier in Thompson, Manitoba for over 20 years. She retired to Toutes Aides Manitoba, then Ste Rose du Lac, Manitoba. Gail loved being with family and friends and sitting around a campfire and listening to country music. Mom lived life to the fullest and she enjoyed making friends with everyone. She was loved by all.
A celebration of Gail’s life was held on Friday May 26 at 2 pm in the Ste. Rose Community Centre in Ste. Rose du Lac.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Friends who so desire may make a donation in memory of Gail to the Manitoba Lung Association or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
