Rollover near Norway House kills driver and injures two passengers

A 53-year-old man died and two women received minor injuries when a vehicle left the road and rolled over on Highway 373 on the morning of June 27. Norway House RCMP were alerted about the single-vehicle accident around 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

A 53-year-old man died and two women received minor injuries when a vehicle left the road and rolled over on Highway 373 on the morning of June 27.

Norway House RCMP were alerted about the single-vehicle accident around 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Investigation determined that the car went into the ditch and rolled near the Sea Falls Ferry and that the driver, a Norway House resident, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The passengers, aged 20 and 22 and also from Norway House, were taken to hospital for treatment.

Norway House RCMP continue to investigate.
