Norway House RCMP seized crack and powder cocaine as well as cash and about $10,000 worth of electronics and clothing while executing a search warrant around noon April 15.
Thirty-five-year-old Joseph Muskego of Norway House Cree Nation was arrested and charged with possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possessing property obtained by crime and two counts of failure to comply with probation orders. He was remanded into custody pending a court appearance scheduled for April 17.
A second search of another residence around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday resulted in the seizure of cash, crack cocaine and a loaded shotgun. Eight people were arrested and four of them will be facing charges.
