Two youths try to steal pizza delivery vehicle at knifepoint, then flee on foot

Two males, estimated to be 16 or 17 years old, tried to steal a pizza delivery driver’s car at knifepoint March 26 but failed and fled on foot.

Thompson RCMP received a report around 2:45 a.m. that the male youths pulled a knife on a pizza delivery driver in the Walmart parking lot and then attempted to steal the driver’s car, but were unsuccessful because they could not operate the vehicle.

The suspects fled on foot and were seen by police running into the south tower of Forest View Suites, also known as Princeton Towers. Officers patrolled the building but did not locate the suspects, who are described as 16 to 17 years old, 5’7” to six feet tall with slim builds, estimated to weigh about 130 pounds. Both suspects were reported to be wearing black jackets and black pants.
