A pair of youths with warrants for their arrest were caught by police following a brief foot chase after a stabbing in the parking lot of the Burntwood Hotel Sept. 18.
Thompson RCMP responded to a call about several people – including one female armed with a knife – attacking one man in the hotel parking lot around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. Patrolling police located the victim, who was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries from a minor stab wound and later released.
The two youths apprehended by police also had court release conditions including a curfew. They will both face new charges and are being held in custody pending a court appearance.
