Traffic stop on Thompson Drive results in seizure of cocaine and two arrests

Two men were arrested July 29 after a traffic stop that led to Thompson RCMP seizing more than an ounce of cocaine and $2,000.

Police stopped a vehicle on Thompson Drive South around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night, which resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old Thompson man who was found in possession of 32 grams of cocaine and cash. He faces multiple charges and was released to appear in court at later date, as was a 27-year-old man who was also arrested and faces multiple charges.
