Traffic stop leads to charges after police find three ounces of cocaine

A Thompson man is facing charges after RCMP discovered three ounces of cocaine following an Oct. 18 traffic stop.

A 48-year-old man from Thompson is facing drug trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime charges after an Oct. 18 traffic stop.

Thompson RCMP pulled over a vehicle near the intersection of Princeton Drive and Mystery Lake Road around 8:20 p.m. Friday. He was arrested and police found three ounces of cocaine on his person.

RCMP said on social media Oct. 22 that David O'Brien is charged with possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possessing property obtained by crime.
