Three people arrested when house search turns up cocaine and oxycodone

Three people were arrested at a Juniper Drive residence Nov. 25 when police found cocaine and oxycodone while executing a search warrant.

Thompson RCMP and RCMP north district Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team members conducted the search, which also turned up drug trafficking paraphernalia including digital scales and plastic baggies. A can of bear spry was also seized.

A 20-year-old woman from Thompson, a 48-year-old man from Thompson and a 31-year-old man from Wabowden are facing multiple drug trafficking charges. The man from Wabowden faces additional charges for possessing oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking and possessing bear spray contrary to a court order. 

The men were remanded into custody and the woman was released to appear in court at a later date.
