Thompson RCMP charge two people and seek two more in connection with Dec. 6 robbery and assault

Two people have been charged and two others are being sought in relation to a Dec. 6 incident in which a 50-year-old man from Selkirk was beaten and robbed on Princeton Drive in Thompson. RCMP were called to the south tower of Forest View Suites Dec.

Two people have been charged and two others are being sought in relation to a Dec. 6 incident in which a 50-year-old man from Selkirk was beaten and robbed on Princeton Drive in Thompson.

RCMP were called to the south tower of Forest View Suites Dec. 6 where they found the man from Selkirk unresponsive outside. He was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and is still hospitalized.

On Jan. 7, RCMP arrested 32-year-old Donald Timothy Massan of Thompson and charged him with aggravated assault and robbery. Mariah Martha Baker of Thompson was also arrested and charged with robbery.

Police are still searching for two other suspects: 30-year-old Patrick Shamus Jackson of Thompson, who is wanted for robbery, and Jerome Montgomery Cook, 23, from Pikwitonei, who is wanted for robbery and aggravated assault.

Thompson and RCMP and the RCMP Major Crimes Unit continue to investigate the incident.
