A video by Thompson dietitians is vying for top spot in the Manitoba Association of Health Care Professionals (MAHCP) 2019 Video Contest, with voting wrapping up at 4 p.m. March 1.
Their entry – “We are the Dietitians of Thompson”– had 569 Facebook likes as of 3 p.m. Feb. 28, 118 fewer than the Lab Life submission, which had 687. If they win, the dietitians are planning to donate their prize to Thompson’s Salvation Army food bank and the Thompson Homeless Shelter.
The video with the most likes will get $1,500, second place will get $1,000 and third place will get $500.
To vote for the videos, got the MAHCP Facebook page. Likes on Facebook shares or the original YouTube video do not count towards the total.
Winners will be announced tomorrow.
MAHCP s a union of approximately 3,900 members in 160 fields including pharmacists, dietitians, physiotherapists, radiology technologists, respiratory therapists and lab technologists.
