Students attending high school can still ride bus for free until end of March

R.D Parker Collegiate students and junior high students attending practical arts classes at the school will be able to ride transit buses for free until the end of March, with the fares being covered by the School District of Mystery Lake.

Regular transit services and fares are back in effect Feb. 11, but R.D. Parker Collegiate students and Grade 7 and Grade 8 School District of Mystery Lake (SDML students attending practical arts classes at the high school will still be able to ride for free until the end of March.

“The School District of Mystery Lake is providing free bussing for R.D. Parker Collegiate students for the months of February and March during regular school days,” said the SDML in an announcement on their website. “Grades 7 & 8 students attending R.D. Parker Collegiate for junior high practical arts classes will also be able to take the bus for free. This will include pick up and drop off from both bus routes. Thank you to Maple Bus Lines  for helping our students get to school during the recent transit outage. Your free service was greatly appreciated.”

The city and Maple Bus Lines confirmed Feb. 11  that these students will ride free until the end of March.
