Seniors council helps out 22 seniors with groceries

The Thompson Seniors Community Resource Council (TSCRC) recently distributed $1,000 worth of groceries to seniors in the community. Several board members assisted with the delivery of 44 bags of groceries to 22 recipients. The grocery giveaway was made possible by a donation from the Manitoba Nurses Union Local 6 who expressed a desire to help out Thompson’s seniors during the ongoing COBVID-19 pandemic. The TSCRC thanks the nurses union for their generosity and concern for seniors and extends a shout-out to all who assisted with the grocery distribution program.
