Thompson RCMP are investigating a Nov. 16 armed robbery during which a cashier was sprayed with bear spray by suspects who ran off with a 24-pack of beer.
The incident occurred at a Cree Road beer vendor just after 5 p.m. when a male suspect entered the business and asked to buy the beer. When the employee went to retrieve the beer, the first suspect nodded at a second suspect outside, who then ran in and sprayed the cashier, who was treated at Thompson General Hospital for minor injures.
Around 5pm on Nov 16, a robbery occurred at a business on Cree Rd in Thompson. The first suspect wis a tall male who was wearing a black tuque, a face mask and a camouflage hoodie with a black jacket over it. The second suspect is believed to be a female and was wearing a black face mask, a black hoodie with red writing on the sleeves, grey sweat pants and white sneakers.
