Police seize 11 ounces of cocaine after traffic stop

Two men are facing drug trafficking charges after cocaine was seized during a Sept. 20 traffic stop in Thompson.

Thompson RCMP pulled over a vehicle on Princeton Drive around 9 p.m. Sunday. Investigation led to approximately 11 ounces of cocaine being seized along with multiple cellular phones.

A 30-year-old man from Thompson and a 21-year-old man from Leaf Rapids are in custody and will face multiple drug trafficking charges, police say.

Thompson RCMP continue investigating.
