Police find sawed-off shotguns in Thompson and Split Lake

Thompson RCMP recovered a pair of sawed-off shotguns in Thompson and Split Lake May 12.

A Burntwood Trailer Court resident notified police after finding a sawed-off shotgun in their backyard.

In Split Lake, Thompson RCMP found a sawed-off shotgun and shotgun ammunition in a residence. An 18-year-old Split Lake man was arrested and faces multiple firearms-related and court order breach charges. Police continue to investigate.
